Policy dates
Effective Date: 12 October 2026
Last Updated: 12 October 2026
1. General Policy
IDL – International Dental Legends is owned and organized by RADS – Royal Association for Dental Solution.
This Policy governs refund and cancellation requests relating to conference tickets, educational courses, workshops, clinical attachments, clinical programs, and other services offered through the official IDL website, mobile application, or authorized registration channels.
All requests are subject to the terms disclosed at the time of purchase and applicable Egyptian law, including Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018 and its Executive Regulations.
Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude or limit any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
2. Cancellation Requests by Participants
Participants who wish to cancel a booking must submit a written request to the official IDL support email.
The request should include:
- Full name of the registered participant.
- Booking or order reference.
- The ticket, course, workshop, or clinical program concerned.
- The reason for cancellation, where relevant.
- Proof of payment, if requested.
The date on which the cancellation request is received will determine the applicable refund category, subject to the provisions of this Policy and applicable law.
3. Conference Tickets – Non-Refundable
Conference admission tickets are non-refundable.
Once purchased, the value of a conference admission ticket will not be refunded in cases of personal cancellation, change of plans, or inability to attend, subject to any mandatory rights or remedies provided by applicable Egyptian law.
This provision applies specifically to conference admission tickets and does not replace the separate refund schedule applicable to courses, workshops, and clinical programs.
If the conference is cancelled by the organizer or a material change affects the purchased service, the participant's rights will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the case.
4. Refund Policy for Courses, Workshops, and Clinical Programs
The following cancellation schedule applies to separately purchased educational courses, workshops, clinical attachments, and clinical programs.
Refund eligibility is determined by the time remaining before the scheduled start date of the relevant course, workshop, or clinical program.
A. Cancellation 60 Days or More Before the Event
Participants who submit a cancellation request at least 60 calendar days before the scheduled start date are eligible for a refund of 90% of the total ticket price.
A cancellation fee equal to 10% of the total ticket price will be deducted from the refundable amount.
B. Cancellation 40–59 Days Before the Event
Participants who submit a cancellation request between 40 and 59 calendar days before the scheduled start date are eligible for a refund of 50% of the total ticket price.
The remaining 50% will be retained as a cancellation charge, subject to applicable law.
C. Cancellation 30 Days or Less Before the Event
Cancellation requests submitted 30 calendar days or less before the scheduled start date are non-refundable, subject to any mandatory rights or remedies under applicable Egyptian law.
D. Requests Submitted 31–39 Days Before the Event
For cancellation requests submitted between 31 and 39 calendar days before the scheduled start date, the refund amount will be determined according to the cancellation terms expressly disclosed to and accepted by the participant before purchase, subject to applicable law.
The applicable cancellation conditions must be clearly communicated before payment.
This refund schedule applies to courses, workshops, clinical attachments, and clinical programs. It does not apply to conference admission tickets.
5. Payment Gateway Fees and Additional Charges
Refund calculations are based on the eligible portion of the ticket or service price, as defined in the applicable booking terms.
Payment gateway fees, bank processing fees, and other additional charges separately imposed by official payment service providers are excluded from the refund amount, where these charges were properly disclosed before payment and are non-refundable under the applicable provider's terms and applicable law.
Any additional fees that were not disclosed to the participant before purchase will not automatically be deducted from the refund. Their treatment will be determined in accordance with applicable Egyptian law.
RADS will not deduct undisclosed or unauthorized charges from a refund.
6. Courses, Workshops, and Clinical Attachments
Bookings for courses, workshops, and clinical attachments may involve limited seating, advance preparation, educational materials, clinical arrangements, and third-party commitments.
Cancellation requests will be processed according to the refund schedule in Section 4.
If RADS cancels a course or fails to provide a purchased service as agreed, the participant will be offered the refund or other remedy required by applicable law.
Where appropriate and agreed, an alternative session or rescheduling option may be offered.
No alternative arrangement will remove a participant's mandatory legal rights.
7. Event Cancellation or Material Changes
If IDL is cancelled by the organizer, RADS will communicate the available arrangements to registered participants.
Where a refund is legally due, the applicable amount will be refunded in accordance with Egyptian law and the relevant payment terms.
If the event date, venue, program, speaker lineup, or other material details change, RADS will communicate the change and assess any resulting refund requests in accordance with the advertised terms and applicable law.
Minor program adjustments that do not materially affect the purchased service will be handled in accordance with the disclosed event terms and applicable law.
8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will generally be returned through the original payment method where practicable and legally appropriate.
The time required for the refunded amount to appear in the participant's account may depend on the payment gateway, bank, card issuer, or other payment provider.
RADS will communicate any material processing requirements or delays where reasonably possible.
Participants should not send full payment card numbers, passwords, or security codes by email.
9. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments
If a participant believes that a payment was duplicated or charged incorrectly, they should contact IDL support with the relevant booking reference and transaction details.
Verified duplicate or incorrect payments will be reviewed and corrected in accordance with the applicable payment arrangements and legal requirements.
10. How to Submit a Refund Request
All refund and cancellation requests must be submitted to:
Email: info@idl-egypt.com
Subject: IDL Refund Request – [Booking Reference]
Participants should include their full name, booking reference, payment confirmation, and the relevant course or ticket details.
Additional information may be requested when reasonably necessary to verify the booking and payment.
11. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, including Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018 and its applicable Executive Regulations.
If any provision of this Policy conflicts with a mandatory legal right, the applicable legal requirement shall prevail.
